Looking to get into crypto? Here is some spoonfood:

- DYOR
- Start on fiat exchanges: Coinbase Pro has the cheapest fees.
- After buying, transfer your coins to a digital wallet. Coinbase wallet is fine for a start.
- Safer coins to start: BTC/ETH/AAVE/UNI/LINK
- Always be confident in your investment choice before investing.
- Pick an investment strategy and stick to it (Ex. DCA or "always buy the dip")
- Invest with the intent to hold for years.
- Diversify your portfolio. At least 2 coins, one of which should be BTC or ETH. Never all-in one coin.
- Never buy ATH or upward trends, only dips, unless you're DCAing.
- Never sell at a loss.
- Never "panic sell". If you DYOR, you should be confident your investment will eventually be profitable, regardless of dips.
- Never let FUD dictate your actions.
- Never let FOMO dictate your actions.
- Never let your emotions dictate your actions.
- Lastly, and most importantly: Never fall for /biz/ shill coins. If you can't find good information outside of /biz/ about a coin, avoid it.

You're welcome.

Almost every coin (with the exception of actual pajeetcoins) ended up at least doubling in price after 2 years at any given time, especially true for btc, eth and link.

Selling at a loss is permissible if you’ve fallen for the pajeet p&d and bought a degen shitcoin like Digibyte, RBC, BEAN, bancor etc

I wouldn't say to never sell at a loss. I recommend selling at a loss for tax purposes at the end of the year. Also I expect UNI to increase in price in the short term but not in the long term. Something else will probably take its place at some point. Besides that though it's good advice

You have good intentions anon, but:
>Never sell at a loss
If you made a mistake, it's better to take the 2-4% loss than keep holding a pos shitcoin and run the risk of losing more. SAD!
>Never buy ATH or upward trends, only dips, unless you're DCAing.
This one for newfags holds, for experienced traders not.
