Both are solid companies. Blackberry has always been respected for security and now that they aren’t bothering with making the phones (which were NOT as good as the system they used) they are essentially trimmed down to only doing what they’re best at and having no physical production expenses to get fucked up by geopolitics.
Nokia is just nokia. They have good 5g tech and have been getting nationwide contracts for infrastructure. It’s nokia, it literally never dies.
The main barrier to both has nothing to do with their business models or staffing, it’d almost all just people going “they still exist? really? but they’re old!” and ignoring that the names and experience haven’t changed but the business models have.
I am all in on both. When the market realizes they aren’t memes they will explode because the feeling of being old that’s holding them down will become confidence in something durable and proven.
