So someone pls explain to me whatever it is im missing here:
>start leverage trading on Bybit with a very small (~$200) stack of money just to see how it in action
>already know how it works, about maker/taker fees etc just never wanted to do it with actual money just yet
>open extremely safe market long of ETH-USDT @ 50x
>10% profit and 5% stop loss
>price goes down, hits the stop and closes the order
>lose expected ~10 bucks
>also lose nearly $25 extra
how the fuck does this happen? It says my fees paid were only 7.5, which makes sense since its 50 x the taker fee, but where is the rest of that coming from? The candle did dip super hard either, it just crossed the line and filled instantly so its not like it was trying to sell it off at a way lower price

don't ude bybit, they are chink scammers that make look binance good
you should know what is notional value first
200*50*0.00075=$15
the difference is the mark price - spot that you have to pay extra to open a position
50x lmao

My financial advice is to stop trading with leverage.

You have 0% chance of making money with leverage. The market maker robot has total situational awareness and sees ALL leveraged LONGS AND SHORTS and just liquidates them all day. You cant win. It is rigged.
