This is true, but the market conditions are quite a bit different now, and cardano isn't a new ICO anymore like it was in 2017. Also, not many projects can drop 99% and still keep going, so it speaks to hardiness/longevity I think.

Why do you have to take risk at all, all shit coins have a 50% and above possibility of being a scam or having a terrible business plan that will crash and burn.

ADA will probably go to $3 in this run but all you have to do is convert your 50% of your ADA tokens back into USD when it doubles up that way you lose nothing and if the coin crashes you lost nothing.
