Only reason I ask is because I am going to be paying off all my student loans this month(10k left) but there are rumors that biden might forgive like 5k worth of debt due to covid? Should I hold off on paying back my loans then? I imagine we would have heard more by now if it were true?

Also, this debt is the last of any debt I have. Would now be a good time to start investing in the stock market? I held off for awhile because I was in debt and isn't investing while in debt a bad idea?
