Not true. Decent houses in the 2nd/third world still cost 100k-150k. On top of that in order to become a citizen there you’re going to have to pay your way in via investment programs. Usually this requires minimum 100k investment in property or a business, and often goes up to a million dollars. Then you have to factor in that you’re most likely not going to get an okay job since you don’t speak the local language and you were probably just a regular wagie in the West anyways. So now you need extra big sums of cash to live on since you won’t have a decent job and it will take time to learn the langue and get qualifications for jobs.

So in the end, that 300k gets blown just by moving to the 2nd/3rd world country. You’re now flat broke and it’s not even been a full day. To really make it these days you need at least $1.5 million. Ideally 2-3. Then 2nd/3rd world is extremely doable to move to.
