or cancel it by hitting speed up, manual gas and put in 1 gwei, will fail. then go to settings/advanced in metamask and use "reset account" this will remove the "failed transaction" from your log and metamask will work as usual.

resetting the account just removes the transactions, nothing is lost, funds are safu
