Yes, but I always make sure to give it to the right causes. All the philanthropists like Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates all mentioned that finding out how to donate the money to charitable causes was the most difficult thing to do in their life, even moreso than their careers.

First, I try to donate to places where I physically volunteered at or family/friends that were positively impacted by such an organization.

So to answer your question, in this current season:
1. Local food banks
2. Homeless shelters / assistance
3. Orphanages in developing countries

Never to the poors who ask me in person. They ask me for money almost every time I go to 7-11 or wawa and it pisses me off. They have no shame. Perfectly fine with just standing in front of a gas station and asking for free money, offering nothing in return.
