download the metamask wallet app and just play around with it to get a feel for everything. 2k will get you a decent stack, price is .08 per token rn. You can use the metamask wallet's browser to navigate to uniswap and rubic exchange and then connect the wallet. when you buy eth just make sure you copy your wallets public address to the reception field. There are hardware wallets that can store erc-20, but i wouldn't recommend ledger. niggaz gon come after ur efferiums kek.

install metamask and then navigate to uniswap. uniswap will ask to connect to metamask. approve the connection and the you can select the token you want to swap. first you have to add the rubic token to metamask by adding a custom token and inputting the rubic token contract address which can be found here coingecko com/en/coins/rubic. the the token field will appear in your wallet. try to time the swap when gas is low or it will take while. if it tales to long you will still be charged for gas and the transaction might fail. You can adjust the slippage to allow for price deviations during the transactions. there a lot of good youtube resources to figure the ins and outs. Even if you are iffy on rubic, but eth. eth2.0 is in the works and eth will pop hard this year.
