STOP CRABBING AROUND 15 CENTS YOU PIECE OF SHIT AND START DOING SOMETHING
Previous thread: >>26225955

Dextools: https://www.dextools.io/app/uniswap/pair-explorer/0x26b4b107dce673c00d59d71152136327cf6dfebf

DAIQ is an algo elastic supply "stablecoin", working in a similar way to what AMPL, ESD/DSD, ZAI have been trying in the past with a new coupon system and a way for holders/gamblers to actively participate in making the price go back up to its supposed peg of $1. Check this video explaining the concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ww5zvvphX0

Or read this medium article: https://linkysaint.medium.com/daiquilibrium-e5665e348f15 (if the lurker who typed this quoting my words could post ITT instead of lurking silently it would be nice)

TL;DR
>if DAIQ > $1 = supply increases and goes to holders wallets
>if DAIQ < $1 = no rewards anymore, but holders can choose to buy coupons by burning their tokens, reducing the supply and betting on DAIQ going back up to $1

As with any investment, this is not without risks. Including:
>anonymous team
>no real value beyond muh rewards when DAIQ > $1
>the concept only works when there's enough volume to keep the cycle going
>if buy pressure and volume die = DEATH
>DAO/governance/community-driven buzzwords
>only incentive to buy below the peg is thinking that others will also see the value in doing so, WHEN IT'S NOT GUARANTEED TO GO BACK UP
>burning your tokens for a coupon is basically betting on the price going back up to $1 with your stack as collateral
>risk that can be deemed unnecessary for vanilla holders who can just wait for their bags to appreciate in value
>sell pressure can be massive on the way up due to burned buyers above $1 waiting to cut their losses and excess DAIQ waiting to be dumped
>ANONYMOUS TEAM

Good stuff is on the way, marketing is coming. The price is surprisingly holding up quite well around 15 cents, in fact one could say it's crabbing upwards. Breakout soon?

Maybe I should start to consider shilling DAIQ as a 15 cents stablecoin. This is getting ridiculous.

At least it's organic and self-aware. DAIQ still passes my detector after its been sharpened by non-stop RBC insanity. Still accumulating both ETH and governance though.

Why is it always like this with all the secrecy and stuff. I'm the kind who shares when I find something I deem to be good enough (like DAIQ) for example. Unless you're under NDAs or something I don't see the point

What is required for DAIQ to reach stability at one dollar? How many shekels? Or is it just time delegating/running a node needed?

Buyers and volume, for the most part. This is the main issue with tokens of this kind, hence why they're using buzzwords like elastic dynamic supply algorithmic EMPTY crap to hide the fact that DAIQ has no real value on its own. It's only (you), me and the perceived potential of the rewards if the price > $1 that are supposed to bring back/maintain DAIQ around the peg. The idea behind the coupons is to artifically reduce the supply in order to increase demand, and thus buying pressure. We both know that reality isn't exactly that simple.
Technically, thanks to the voting system you might see propositions and ideas about how to maintain the price but I wouldn't bet on them being fruitful.

The chart is proof that if you don't have enough buy pressure, we end up in the current situation with a token that got oversold because people got too greedy in the first place following the listing hype, who held above $2 and even $3 instead of selling their profits - who wouldn't have?

also JESUS christ what was that dip

Alright, is it known how much or do they just hope it'll happen eventually?
>bring back and maintain
Question was more for initial bring up to 1$, as it will determine life or death of the project. If it never sees enough adoption to reach 1$ it's dead.
Also what collateral does it use? DAI uses overcollateralizes on ETH.

I actually don't know and I'm not sure if the team talked about this. If I had to make an inaccurate estimate guess looking at the CG chart, I believe it would need a constant daily volume of at least $3 Million of both buys and sells so that they would cancel each other? Sorry anon, I can't really provide a satisfactory answer on that front.

>Question was more for initial bring up to 1$, as it will determine life or death of the project. If it never sees enough adoption to reach 1$ it's dead.
You're absolutely right. It's why right now is both a maximum financial opportunity from a chart POV and a maximum financial risk due to the fact this could never gain enough traction. The team said that they have a lot in store regarding marketing, and they have been allowed to use $150k to do so. Fingers crossed, it could end up being a nothingburger.

>Also what collateral does it use? DAI uses overcollateralizes on ETH.
Now I see what was my issue with your line of questioning. You are still thinking of DAIQ as an actual stablecoin when it's an algorithmic stablecoin, see AMPL for example. Meaning the collateral in DAIQ's case is the supply itself. With AMPL and other rebase tokens you'd see a smart contract automatically adjusting the supply with negative or positive rebases, when here holders themselves can decide to take the risk of burning their tokens for a coupon (betting on the price going back to $1 with their tokens as collateral) in order to get them back with a premium once DAIQ is valued at $1 once more. I hope this answered your questions, anon.

That's reassuring then, 150kUSD should go a long way.
>the collateral in DAIQ's case is the supply itself

Another shameless self bump. It has been decided that 1.3m USD of the treasury will be farmed to earn revenue, potentially increasing the available funds at DAIQ's disposal. I don't really know how I should feel about this honestly. Those could have been used to add liquidity despite the draining bots, or even as a short term solution against the sell pressure, I don't know. Maybe we'll be happy with this decision in the coming weeks.
