You would though.

You would be the government though. End leeches that provide no value to society like landlords and factory owners and such.

If everyone had guranteed housing, healthcare, education we'd have far more freedom. It's easy too, there are 17 million empty homes in usa and only half a million homeless.

Yeeeaaah. It never works out like that though does it? Apart from small scale communes.

Any centrally planned economy always ends in shit, and is inefficient. Also it always ends up with the 'political class' i.e. party members and other high ranking officials creaming the fruits of everyones labour, and the peasants get the scraps. When has this ever NOT been the case?

At least capitalism you have a chance to escape wagecuckery.

Any nation that has attempted it has been heavily attacked by outside forces. Usa tried to do a coup in Bolivia last year, is actively starving tens of thousands in Venezuela with sanctions.

Even moderate social democ reforms would benefit usa greatly. A living wage, single payer health, funds for higher education (and ending the bullshit that caused tuitions to go 1000's x)

Healthcare is especially stupid. It basically forces you to wage cuck. Then if you are between jobs or something and have a health emergency you could go into eternal debt.

Well I can't talk about the USA because I'm from the UK. I agree with universal health care for the most part.

I don't agree with your assessment that communism elswhere has failed due to outside forces and not mis-mangement. There's a reason Venezuela has been sanctioned by the international community.

The only example I can think of is Cuba, but they are still poor as fuck.

China doesn't count, since they are hybrid model.

Every place is a hybrid model though. Norway has a higher level of public ownership than Venezuela. And maduro has made poor economic decisions. But other nations declaring a guy who didn't even run to be the legit president is crazy.

It's just so insane that so many people are out of jobs and desperate, while bezos, musk, zuck made more wealth than ever last year. And bezos still won't let his employees pee. There has to be some system that doesn't send all money to the top

True, I agree.

Capitalism is not perfect, and there needs to be constraints on it. Otherwise capital attracts capital and we end up with mega-corp monopolies (aka Amazon) that just buy out all competition, etc, so it becomes impossible to compete. It's quite funny because I've heard that they (Amazon) basically steal the product ideas of 3rd party sellers because they have all the data and can see their suppliers, etc. So they just make an Amazon version of it.

They should just have it where companies over $x billion have to issue new shares equating to say 1% of the market cap every year, which goes to the government as a form of tax. Yes this would dilute existing shares, and therefore publicly held shares - but 80% of shares are owned by like 1% anyway.

Productivity has increased due to technological innovation. But this has been matched in what people earn. In other words companies are generating additional profits due to productivity gains, but not sharing this with workers.
