And Gary Ginsler has said he thinks it is a useful asset, but also that it is a security. If it gets labeled a security it will probably be an FIS/Bearer Bond type exchange asset. Or it's a currency. Either way it is a win win. Marking it as a FIS also takes it out of the hands of normal people, only companies, governments, banks and extremely wealthy people would be able to buy at that point.
