Governments and CBs will absolutely adopt crypto because it makes international finance easier and more profitable. They WILL operate on specific protocols (ALGO, XLM, XRP, IOTA for example) and they WILL issue their own stablecoins that run on those. That does not mean that BTC, ETH, LINK, XMR, etc,... won't still be used and have a lot of value. The crypto ecosystem cannot be regulated away without absolute and total control over all networks everywhere at all times. It's not feasible and it is detrimental to their goals anyway. You don't want to outlaw crypto outside of your system. You want it to exist because then people have to exchange it using your closed system in order to interact with most of the world.

Translation: "I have all my money in Crypto and because I think they can't, they can't"

Yes they can, if they take control of both systems: The Currency you use daily, and the protocol that sends the currency abroad and is used as trade.
Now imagine what would happen if they currency you use daily is already digital? A physical USD is less traceable than BTC, because as soon as you get it out of the printer at the Central Bank, it is basically lost to the eyes of the government. But what if it is all Digital all the time? They are pressing it - China is already doing it, exactly for the reason of control.
Don't be delusional because you got your retirement money in it, retard.
