I had 20k link since presale, from sending ether to a random smartcontract.com website or something found here on /biz/. Held my butt clenched for months until Rory in telegram gave us our links. Accumulated for months up to 75k. Held for almost 2 years until the pump in early 2019. Got out with a total of 7 bitcoin or so. Insane profits.

Would have been a millionaire by now. Fucking believed in the project too. Never bought back because I kept seeing my stack decreasing I could buy back. Now I don't want to look at the price anymore.

I turned down an offer to buy 500 ETH for 50€ from a friend who was trying to get me into crypto in 2015.

He had thousands of ETH (still does), which he saw as a sure investment. I thought he was an idiot and didn't know the value of money since he was raised rich. Not likely. In the shithole I live in it was actually very hard to turn ETH into money at that time (or even buy it), I looked into it and that was one of the reasons I thought it was "fake money". Decides he's gonna earn 25 BTC more profit and then walk away.

Installed the Bitcoin miner software some 10 years ago. Stopped mining after seeing Bitcoin was worth only a few pennies, less than making up for the energy bill. Pic related. 10 years later the wallet turned out to be empty, so I must have misconfigured the miner.

Around 2013, GPU mining Bitcoin had become infeasible because of ASICs. I started pool mining Doge. Eventually lost interest. When I checked later, all those pools I mined into were shut down. Never withdrew any coins.

tl;dr Was there at the start of Bitcoin but never mined any.

I made some money online when I was a teenager, I held all of it in btc at around 300 a coin. In total I cashed 60 for 20k because I was 15 and retarded so I wanted to have cash and do fun shit, buy clothes, video games ect. i didn't buy bitcoin back when it was 200$ a coin even though i knew i should because i was depressed from a life time of abuse and very poor. i didn't evne understand enough about finance or have enough credit to go get a loan, but i had a computer i could have mined with, but i just didn't becuase i was too depressed and anxious and jus made excuses and smoked weed instead when i could have atleast spent that money on bitcoin. now i've learned my lesson and don't smoke weed and am investing everything i get into crypto but it feels fucking bad that i missed out on fixing my life by now and i worry every day about NGMI. i just want to not be poor and have a family and be happy. sometimes i can't sleep at night thinking about what could have been.

I was going to drop 5k in it but got put off by the scammy exchanges so never did. I was right in the end with bitgrail exitscamming but if I timed it before the rugpull I could have potentially had 750k before I even graduated highschool lol
