I was a poorfag student in my first year at halls and bet 80 britbongs. I didn't and still don't like Trump but I thought Hilary Clinton acted like a totally unlikeable witch and there was a wider sense that people were just tired of the same old political elite.

Some douchebag NY trust fund kid heard about my bet and called me a fucking idiot - I hated him before because he was everything I disliked about rich American children but his attitude made me really confident on my bet.

When the news came through, it wasn't much, but it was drinking money. I saw him at one of the local bars drowning his sorrows and just grabbed his neck (I'm pretty tall) and kept slurring into his ear: 'whose the fucking idiot now.' I was pretty wasted so I think I said it several times.

A lot of the Americans were crying and thought I was an asshole but I had a great time. To me, it was a clear win/win scenario.
