Bitcoin is a store of value above everything else. Why would it have an high value otherwise?

But if you can allow poor people to use it throught the lightning network, that's a plus.

Those that want to hardfork it to raise the blocksize to a ridiculous level compromising centralization will find certain death by whales (which is why you should not worry about hardfork FUDs, it will never hardfork unless all whales agree).
