How do you set up a node and how much do you make from it?

>> No.26134597

How much avax do you need? Any other requirements other than a good pc?

>> No.26134601

Also would like to know answer to this

>> No.26135097

Also is avax liquid when staking similar to ada?

>> No.26135755

Nobody on here knows anything?

>> No.26136475

I don't have any AVAX (American kekw), but initial starting points to your questions can be found at the following links:

https://docs.avax.network/learn/platform-overview/staking
https://youtu.be/c_SjtCiOFdg
http://support.avalabs.org/en/articles/4594192-networking-setup

The minimum AVAX one needs to stake in order to be a Validator and collect Validator rewards is 2,000. If you don't have 2,000, then the minimum to delegate to a Validator is 25 where you may receive a smaller reward for staking.

Thanks a bunch. Where are people getting its only going to be 500 to run a node? And im american too it sucks not being able to buy this

I'm american and I bought 60 on voyager. I'll add more avax once I get more ada

You can buy. VPN into Binance or gate.io.

Move BTC to wallet, buy AVAX, withdraw AVAX to Avalanche Wallet.

Not sure where people are getting that. There are other caveats aside from the minimum 2,000, such as needing to have an up-time of 60% of more on a node if someone decides to run one. This information is also in links provided.

And, as others have pointed out, there are ways to get AVAX as an American. Voyager, a VPN on Binance, or even on Jelly Swap.

AVAX Node Operator here.
you make 10% APY on your staked stack + delegation fees and in the future subnet token rewards.

>a good pc?
the node can run on a raspi4
