Idk how the UK system works, but it's not worth it in the U.S. anymore. Med school is fine if you're ok with the loans, but residency is a fucking scam. Like 5 years of working 80+ hours a week. You get one fucking day off a month. Especially now that the minimum wage will be $15, you are literally making minimum wage. If you're smart enough to go into medicine, you're smart enough to get a job in FAANG or whatever else and not deal with the scam that's residency

As someone who got into med school at 19 (in US normal age is 22 to start), I would opt instead for the white collar job.

After I spend the next 7 years medcucking in Shitcago, I will be $300k in debt, partially bald, making a $75k salary working in some strip mall clinic.

I was pulling my hair out trying to get in, and after getting accepted I live in a rented hovel in a nasty city, studying every day. It's no better on this side.

Med students are actually just normie retards with a penchant for memorization. Life has lost its zest.
