Fargoth has a cool quest where you spy on him sneaking around from atop a lighthouse. Sucks how most of the remaining quests in the game didn’t have that much scripted touch to them.

oblivion still has the best quests by far, especially the dark brotherhood. such a good questline, and the who dun it quest might be the best quest in any elder scrolls game

Man I loved the imperial cult treasure hunt quests in Morrowind. You usually had to find a specialized person to get info from, which meant that actual konwledge about the gameworld (where to find such a person) was rewarded. Then you traveled to an interesting location, fought a powerful opponent and gained a super valuable, unique item as reward. Extremely simple but all the elements needed in a good rpg.
