Piece of shit is never going to hit its fucking all time high. Looks like it's time for it to bleed sats endlessly yet again. Seriously I'm so fucking sick and tired of holding and waiting for this garbage to make a decent move. I guess it's just never going to happen because the universe will not allow it. All I needed to do was simply buy BTC, but instead I decided to choose fucking dogshit. Fuck my life, right?

Well done.

Selling on the brink of breaking resistance is a dangerous game. BTC is acting like a bitch right now and dragging everything down but ETH could breakout at any moment. Your choice anon

Because we expect more from eth than that, it still has yet to breach ATH. It falls apart when Bitcoin drops 1 percent.

I don't give a flying fuck about market cap performance, that doesn't mean jack shit to me because that's not the determinant factor that's going to make me rich, the token price is. The only reason why it's registering as the "best performing" in terms of market cap is because the token supply inflated, but what does that actually do for me at the end of the day holding a certain amount of ETH? Fucking nothing.

Ngmi seriously the people, who don't even do their own research, crying on this board about ETH right before alt season as bitcoin dumps because it spent 2021 (half of which was during a correction) settling down. You're failing the entrance exam to the citadel before it even begins before you have an impatient nigger brain. The absolute state.

ETH has nearly twice the gains BTC has had over the last year. If that's not enough action for you, then buy a lower cap alt with higher risk.

The complaints seem to come from people who likely bagheld from 2017/2018. People pointing out ETH's recent performance discounts the absolutely horrific dump they had to endure and are still trying to recover from. The best performing coint of the last whatever years argument just makes them angrier because they are still down on it.

Yes, they should have sold and bought lower or averaged down, but that's where the frustration seems to be coming from.

These are probably the same people who were complaining in November and early December about BTC not breaking 20k. People who amass wealth don't think short term like that. Hopefully they will wise up soon.

Makes sense. I have been HODLing ETH since 2016. I held it all through crypto winter because I could see the tremendous upside it has. Now we have billions of ETH getting locked up in DeFi, very little available to trade. The fuse is lit, but some people don't have the patience to do research, I guess.

dot, ada, ava or whatever new brand of muh eth killer is all dogshit, yet another pony show 2017 style where decentralization is sacrificed to lull retards with muh tps, muh transaction costs
link and other defi coins are speculative scams based on the idea random centralized middleware is going to be worth trillions

i wouldnt get to "maxi-like" when looking at the upcoming competition and alternative coins. Thats how you get left behind and miss new opportunities. Those who looked at DOT and bought are feeling pretty good right now.

ETH is still king in smart contracts, but don't take it as a given that all others will fail or not grow into something huge. Thats exactly the trap BTC maxis fell into.

This is good advice. I remember how stupid the community got just arguing over Bitcoin block size a few years ago. ETH has changed my life, allowed me to retire early, etc. But I still bought a big stack of DOT in September and a smaller stack of ADA. Things move fast in technology.

I’m so tired bros. If we break 1k again I’m selling everything and quitting this space, it’s too god damn stressful. Honestly feel like just dumping my margin ETH position and buying AAVE. Same upside, but zero stress of liquidation

Do you not understand a command when it's given you dense ape? Go sell your ETH. You'll never have to think about gas fees not covered by you EBT card ever again. Go buy RBC or something. Buying Cardano at the top in a month's time is right up your alley but I doubt you'll last that long.

Yeah, i think during the last cycle crypto was still in a barefisted fight for survival. Everything seemed more all or nothing and winner take all. Now people are starting to learn the role these various coins are likely to play in the market.
BTC has its use. ETH has its use. Others like DOT and LINK are following along and finding their footing as well and it wont be the end of it. Now that we can all confidently say that crypto as a whole is not going to zero, hopefully the space can get a bit more collaborative.

I'm tired of having to fend off people saying that BTC is doomed or that ETH is a shitcoin. They are both retarded arguments built mostly out of fear of not being the one true coin.

avax is more decentralised than eth, and is superior in tps, scaling, and costs

Maxi's are the ones I really feel sorry for. They took ridicule from clueless 'tulip' gold-bug boomers for years and then turn around and do the same thing to other crypto investors. Attitudes like that reveal a lot about people.

Yeah - that is kinda funny. At this point they are probably rich enough where I don't really worry about them, but they definitely are going to be missing out on a large amount to the innovation in the space.

I think Bitcoin will eventually get flipped. If not by ETH, then by whatever replaces ETH as the leading smart contract platform. There's more utility in DeFi, supply chain, etc. than store of value, and I think a lot of maxi blindness comes from fear. They don't really understand the space that made them wealthy.
