nah, the thing is, you either believe BTC is massively undervalued or you don't. fiat is worthless imo, they printed 1/3 of the supply of usd this year and moved banks to a no reserve system, it's worthless, i don't want to hold it, but i do want to hold BTC. now i could try to time the market and outperform the market by swingtrading my entire portifolio, but that's extremely risky and a good way to get financially ruined, so I won't do it. i might open a few leverage trades with a tiny fraction (0.1%) of my portifolio if i'm convinced i can make profit, but otherwise i'm not risking it. if you believe BTC is going up then what's the problem? time in the market > timing the market and until BTC is 500k (at this point it would have the same market cap as gold) then it's undervalued imo. and desu considering btc has huge advantages over gold like blockchain transparency, hardcap on supply (gold can be mined infinitely even from asteroids) and can be transferred fast. 1 btc = 1 btc famalam am i making sense? it's just so obvious to me but i may have fallen for the memes. you take a risk either way and no investment is risk free
