I've studied charts for countless hours. My guess:

>30-40 in next week or two
>Retrace to 25
>70-90 latter half of february
>breach 100 in april

Beyond that will depend more on developments and integration. If all goes well I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 400-600 this year.

It's impossible. Even $100 is impossible. You cannot have a price feed used by a couple of companies and 100% subsidized by dumping tokens valued at more than huge international corporations with real products and real profits. At $50 per LINK, it would be worth more than Starbucks. Don't get me wrong, weird things happen in bubbles. But until LINK actually provides a useful service, which people are willing to pay for, then it's just rampant gambling by people who by "chainlink stock" and have no idea what a blockchain even does.

price feeds and verifiable randomness are the tip of the iceberg in terms of chainlink use cases, and yet over 350 integrations have been made. billions of dollars in defi is secured by chainlink. The elites of this world have taken an interest in chainlink. Fuck you anon

>> No.26095708

>billions of dollars of defi have been secured
This is a meme, anon. Yes, a Chainlink node pings the wBTC wallet to see if the supply has moved. No, it does not "secure" anything. It literally just tells you if your money has been stolen or not. There is no way for the Chainlink node to prevent the theft. And these "billions of dollars" are just the price of BTC, which has gone up. If it goes down, are you also going to say that billion of dollars of BTC has left the link ecosystem and therefore the price of LINK needs to correct?

>the elites have an interest in chainlink
qtard schizo posting and I'll ignore it for your benefit.

>verifiable randomness
Ethereum provides this for free. Having a chainlink node tell you that the number hasn't been tampered with since going into the end system isn't a billion dollar idea. A single line of code, open source and available for anybody to see on github, provides the exact same thing. Such lines of code aren't worth billions of dollars either.

>No way for chainlink to prevent theft.
Wrong. Chainlink oracles are the safest around, over the last year, millions of dollars in crypto has been lost through oracle exploits all of which would have been prevented if they had used chainlink, and it's why the majority of those projects switched over to chainlink.

>Wrong.
Listen to me, anon. Chainlink, a node, sergey, whoever - CANNOT prevent BTC being stolen form the wBTC wallet. All the node does is tell potential users of wBTC whether their money has *already* been stolen, or not. It cannot prevent theft and doesn't pretend to. This is not securing anything. It is the equivalent of an alarm which only goes off after the thief has robbed your house.

>Chainlink oracles are the safest around
>over the last year, millions of dollars in crypto has been lost through oracle exploits

>it's why the majority of those projects switched over to chainlink.
The largest defi projects DO NOT use Chainlink. Aave and SNX are the sole exceptions and that's because they get paid to use LINK. But uniswap, sushiswap, Maker, DAI, and al the places where real liquidity is exchanged does not use Chainlink and they openly say they don't need to. Because they are so large, they suffer proportionally greater losses in the event of hacks. Chainlink's oracles can and DO fail. They have failed on multiple occasions. Fortunately, comparatively little money relies on Chainlink infrastructure, and so when Chainlink oracles fail, like they did in March, nobody gives a shit.

These "hacks", as you call them, would not have been prevented by using Chainlink. Sergey happily says this himself in his explanation of them on youtube. These are collateral attacks, not oracle exploits, and Chainlink doesn't and can't prevent them. As long as someone has enough money to move markets, they can exploit the arbitrage opportunities in the same transaction. You can't stop this except by enlarging the size of the markets and speed of the arbitrage to frontrun those attacks, which is what devs have been doing all 2020.
