None of these people use crypto for anything. Even "decentralized store of value" is a meme, because they'll say gold is shit in the same sentence. It's just a get rich quick scheme except nobody gets rich in money, just paper.

Crypto is a giant casino for the gambling away of stimulus checks. 99% of profits go to whales. 1% of people get lucky, and those people wind up on the news and bring in another million suckers to gamble away THEIR stimulus checks.

BTC has a pseudo use as digital cash, but it is now outdated for that purpose. ETH has a use as it facilitates the largest decentralized casino ever created. Some other niche projects have uses, like Chainlink Kleros, but are unrealistically expensive because they have to compete for the same network as speculators and gamblers, destroying any hope of being efficient, and using their solutions is much much more expensive than just doing your transactions in the real world.
