You determine how valuable a project is, buy and hold for the long term. Anyone telling you they can predict crypto in the short term is lying. We all have a hunch though and those hunches are usually based upon fundamentals and past history/charts.

If you're a trader you can try to time things. If not, buy blue chip coins when they aren't in a bubble and wait a few years.
