>dot pumping 35% a day into top 4 market cap
>cardano already offering 3x as much returns compared to link this run
>yfi pumping up 10-30%, even 50% once in awhile
>chain link's big day and it pumps 10%
we have become the boomers of crypto bros the returns are so low for link these days

i just fear for the day we get complacent and become boomers who dont have an open mind to the new technology which would bring bigger gains
sort of like boomers who refuse to invest in crypto because muh 7% on spy is good enough

LINK is still unironically in stealth early investor phase, that’s the crazy part.

There have been ZERO stories covering what LINK actually does. Everyone thinks it is just a dOracle price feed service.

Big crypto personalities think and talk about LINK as a price feed.

The less the better because once it’s out it’s out. I’m honestly mortified and shocked at how many people here discuss pointless coins and other investments, entire threads dedicated to virtually nothing when there is digital gold right in front of them. Makes no fucking sense to me. Accumulate what link you can while you can. It’s actually incredible we’re witnessing this.

We are at the point where ETH maxis were in 2018/2019 and BTC maxis in 2015/2016. You know your coin of choice is the real deal, and you already made a shitload with it. You don't necessarily have to gamble on shitcoins anymore, because another x10 will place you comfortably north of 7 figs. But while in that mindset, you close your eyes to new opportunities. That is why many BTC maxis missed ETH and many ETH maxis missed LINK.
I'm also scared we are currently in that mindset.

I look at shit like PNK and I think: who the fuck needs this? Who the fuck is going to end up using this? That infographic floating around outlining BTC, ETH and LINK usecases now has PNK added to the bottom of it and people unironically believe that PNK is the next big addition to the smartcontract ecosystem. I don't see it and I feel like an ETH maxi looking down in Linkies. Still I can't fathom ever buying a bag of PNK. There are many more shitcoins like this and they just all seem so... shit, compared to LINK.

I kinda went off on a tangent there about new opportunities in crypto, but I feel the same as what anon here >>26065867 said about other disruptive emerging technologies later down the line. I guess the older you get the more you hold on to what you know, and we will probably not be any different when the time comes.

Absolutely just because we understand what LINK is/can do, doesn’t mean the rest of this space does, and beyond that is even another order of magnitude down to normies.

Literally just buy more when it dips and hold. Gamble a little on other shitcoins if you want but only add to your LINK stack.

There ARE people, even very importable people in this space that understand LINK and they are just playing dumb for as long as they can, but once it’s out it’s out. It’ll be crazy when that happens.

The singularity isn’t a meme.

I get you. In crypto standards link isn't a very risky play anymore. But all three BTC, ETH and Link still have a lot of juice in them. But anyway I can see I've become a lot more conservative about shitcoins. I don't care about shitcoins mooning since it's impossible to time. I've moved some link gains to the most obvious defi tokens and fair enough they have massively outperformed link. Especially Aave and SNX were pretty obvious plays, even Sergey shilled them

Don't compare stink to Polkadot. It's literally 100x better, as we have hundreds of projects fighting for 1 out of 100 parachain slots. LINK is just an erc token, that is about to get in trouble with SEC, that is massively sold by the fat fingered russian scammer. While Polkadot is built and designer by Chadwin Wood, which singlehandedly built Solidity, and after he left ETH, Vitalik didn't do shit for the next 5 years. We're going to $30 easily at this BTC price level.
