1) DOT or ADA created WETH and bridge so you can move ETH to their network.

2) DOT or ADA creates Uniswap dapp where you can trade and ETH token.

3) DOT or ADA creates Defi dapp that lets you lend and borrow.

It's going to take some time to have the full ADA ecosystem up, I don't expect huge adoption right after smart contracts are launched. I would expect for ADA to overtake ETH pretty quickly if it keeps up its promises and ETH2 keeps being delayed.

You can do that with loopring right now, liquidity still sucks on there though.

It will. ADA was built from the ground up to deal with the issues ETH sucks at. Any developer knows it's much easier to address issues at the starting stages in greenfield projects than adapting legacy codebases. ETH was still an historic achievement tho, but its days are numbered.

it's over for DOT and ADA because they have admitted they're useless without an Ethereum bridge. They will forever be sidechains, sometimes taking a chip of defi value locked on ethereum, but at the same time anything they do on their own chain will always go back into the ETH ecosystem. It's only just starting for ETH you absolute ngmi retard

ETH is unusable at times because of fees and how slow the networks gets. ETH 2.0 tm is still 3 years away. ETH 2.0 looks more challenging than anyone expected, this adds some risk to what happens when it's released.

What blockchains have "WETH" and "WBTC" that can scale?

>> No.26023884

full ETH 2.0 is years away, yes. Real PoS on ETH 1 are coming soon and major network users ike Tether, Uniswap and Aave have confirmed they are working on moving production onto L2 right now. They are not orig on migrating to Avax, ADA or whatever eth killer # some pajeet invents but they are moving to L2. And as soon as they do more will follow but more importantly, as soon as they do gas fees go down fast because biggest users ar already scaling.

Some chain overtaking ETH would have been possible if they would've been ready and proven before both L2 and ETH2.0 would be close enough to do. In that they have failed.

One thing I think is kind of dumb is how people see ETH 2.0 taking longer than expected as a sign of weakness of ETH devs, while it probably actually means that all the stuff other chain (like ADA) say they can do is a lot harder to do with that kind of volume than they say. Keep in mind that ETH is used a lot and has an interest in not crashing and keeping the name of bing super secure, while f.e. ADA has nothing real going o still and has an interest i creating hype and hope. I wouldn't be surprised as the more ADA goes towards actually having real dapps running on it, delays will come.

btw I hold both some DOT & ADA as I think they and maybe Elrond are the only chains that could still do pretty good in the future if they can get devs to work on it, but this will be as a smaller player next to ETH I have no delusions of them becoming the new ETH

Try using Defi app to leverage trade you will be paying 100 to 300$ per tx

Gas fees are literally keeping me poor. I have lost several excellent trade opportunities just because I have to keep buying and sending eth at a loss to keep up with gas. When I don't have enough to dump more into crypto *just for gas* then I just have to watch my opportunities and gains bleed out

ADA will never overtake ETH due to one simple fact and that's that it's written in Haskell. No developer is going to learn Haskell for this shit and that's why it's doomed to fail.

Dipshit retard. Cardano smart contracts can be programmed in ANY PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. Including shitty SOLIDITY.

ADA is the native token for EVERYTHING on Cardano. No need to clog the network even more with useless tokens.

I would recommend you to look into Radix (eXRD).
