I'm leaving a medium-high cost of living city in the US to go buy a condo in Saigon, Vietnam.

Haven't sold the crypto yet, but if I were to de-risk, it would be into a mix of gold, SPY, tech stocks, and that condo I suppose.

My play is to invest early this year in hopes of a six figure pop ontop of the little bit i got in early on. (less than 20k rn total tho). Goals are to use that to leave the west for a house in ATL

interesting...Sounds like the most solid and stable investment to diversify and mitigate some risk is real estate/land - tangible things

I bought into crypto full stop, once my latest move wins I will diversify my holdings again and keep working to pay off my credit cards, my last debt.

Then when it makes sense cash out for property pay capital gains. only forking out for the down payment though, debt will be held in USD.

I turned 40k into 600k over the past year. How much should I sell? Have 150k in cash already but most of that is for taxes.

I specifically set aside and invested an amount of money I was comfortable with losing and put it all towards crypto.

I am pretty much going to ride crypto for as long as I can. If i lose it all it is what it is.

Youve already broken even so you could divest the original investment amount into other investment vehicles and keep riding with what youve earned between different crypto coins

Are you American like me? I don't even know how to avoid it without renouncing, aside from moving to puerto rico, which sounds annoying with a cat.

Man I'm from there and the houses are cheap, done with these west coast costs

Yea im american...We may be early to crypto in the grand scheme of things and may be in the grey area where we might not have to pay capital gains. Its all so new and largely unregulated right now. More and more places and institutions are accepting crypto so it could just be a waiting gain where we just keep our gains in the crypto ecosystem and never take it out.

idk though gotta do more research
