After I made it to $40k, I’ve never felt more poor in my life. $100k seems so far away, and even that isn’t Making It. What do?

Bro I'm at 70k total and by the time my stock purchase plan executes, I'll be at 90k. Yet its still fucking pointless. The only thing I want is a house and that's still 200k away. I have to save for 4 more years if I want that. Meaning I will barely be in the "owning a home in my 20s" club

Just put it in some leveraged ETFs and forget about it for a while. Sometimes less is more when it comes to investing. I hear IZRL, NAIL, BNKU, and DFEN are good. Oh and SOXL. Semiconductors just keep going up.

Fucking kek. I love crypto, it's designed in such a way help high IQ doomer weaponised autists and appeal to trendy normies buying at the top.

It is poetic retribution

My friend is currently feuding with his roommate, also a friend, over a measely $120 poker dispute. It was funny at first, but I'm slowly becoming disgusted with how petty he's become since he lost. Like, I give more to charity each month than you lost bro. I make more by sleeping in. Fucking dumbass.
And now he's trying to get him kicked out by sucking up to the landlord because "I've lived here for three years, so I'm basically the landlord." Like no you're not bro, you own no land, your portfolio's three figures, and you spend half your paycheck on weed and alcohol. And now you're pissing all over a great subletting arrangement out of SPITE.
FUCK poors!

i remember when i was in 5 figures purgatory. good times
initial goal was to cash out $10k at $100k, and use that as a downpayment on a rural house
then you read about taxes, not just crypto but all the costs and maintenance in a house, or the stress of holding other assets, and you realise even $100-200k won't buy you a shred of financial security. welcome to 6 figures hell

Thankfully half of my friends are good at stocks and not spending 90% of their income on consumer goods every month. But yeah, it's annoying that I'm now being called in to help fix the dispute because it's gone from ridiculous in a funny way to ridiculous in an annoying way. My life went from being carefree and fun to listening to this guy's nonstop bitching for hours every time we hang out. All over the fact that this OBESE RETARD was too drunk to properly physically put his chips in the pot.

Yeah, now that you mention it, every obese person I've associated with has been the asshole of the group. The only exceptions in my experience are a couple of overweight people who are like over 6'8". Maybe being a giant makes you less insecure.

Is Germany really that bad? I'm thinking of moving there after getting my doctorate since they're Europe's biotech hub, but if they're gonna suck up my gains like that I might have to go somewhere else. I have a house in the US I can rent out for $15k a month, but my salary would be smaller than yours, and my stock gains would basically just be reinvested back into the market... I really like German culture and have friends who I'll be able to learn German with but is the government really that bad?

What kind of house do you have to have someone pay 15k a month on rent for, while still worrying over salary shortcomings???
15k usd are more than enough, even for an expensive city like Munich
