The only reason they didn't manage to access my coinbase account was because I used Google 2fa for it any new devices log in. They managed to change my password of it but couldn't get in, thank god for that so I do suggest using it (as long as you write down the seed for it and have back up codes). Replace all your 2fa SIMS security accounts to app based 2fa or security keys, ALL your accounts if you were in the ledger hack.

As far as avoiding the SIM hack, you can only go so far. Provider companies are a bunch of dumbasses that can't distinguish the scam for the real you.
