your parents are right. you are too young to stop learning. you have the luxury of being able to pick and choose, many your age don't. you will regret it if you don't take advantage of your brain before it starts to atrophy. even working customer service will teach to to deal with people and solve problems, and knowing you can leave at the drop of a hat is a sanity saver. I don't know if your parents are great or crap, but they're doing the right thing here.

Don't listen to this FED OP. Soon you'll be able to buy this wagie's land and he'll be paying rent to you.
Keep saving and and have a long term plan that involves investing eventually getting real estate to appease your parents. For now, just keep most of your money where you feel you'll continue getting a good return over the next 2 years. Maybe allocate 20% to stocks that will take off from Biden's infrastructure bill. Max around 15% to 10% for risker investments, like small cap stuff.

As for jobs with Architect's tastes, anything to do with Apple Bees, or a job geographically close to a Hooters would suffice. Just be sure you're a good Christian lad and she's a good Christian lassy so you can get married.
best of luck anon. Earn money now through investments. Don't move out just yet.

I did the same thing all of 2018 at 24 years old after I cashed out close to a million. Started a business and moved out 2019.

Now in hindsight I would have made more money if I just stayed in crypto and did nothing. Running the business was stressful and hard as fuck. Now I'm 27 turning 28. You're going to think I'm bullshitting but I don't regret starting the business and moving out, I regret fucking wasting being 24 rotting at homes playing vidya. I remember almost nothing from that year. I might as well have been dead or in a coma. Taking on all these responsibilities was a huge shock to my system coming from just comfortably and mindlessly living at home on the couch, I felt like I was drowning at times but it forced me to learn how to build a system on managing hundreds of things at once. But paradoxically I'm really glad I didn't continue just doing the comfy existence of nothingness indefinitely. Man that would have been so fucking sad. It's a trap man, don't fall for it.

It had a really big basement, in the first few months I was kind of immature, I started meeting all these people and party there and made a recording studio and stuff. Then halfway through I was like nah I can't have all this ruckus going on and be running a business and kicked everyone out. It was actually pretty successful. I closed because of covid but it wasn't that big of a deal because I have fuckton in savings and got some grants and loans and stuff. I've just been working on streamlining everything and I'm in talks with some people for a licensing agreement or franchise.

You'll just do shit like join zoom meetings from home where you'll be expected to do nothing but listen, maybe they will ask you to take minutes but it's generally the project managers responsibility. Your main duty will basically be uploading files to a Sharepoint or a cloud. Pays relatively good too. But key thing is that it's a field you're interested in.
