if you need money just slave for a retail store or something, literally EVERY supermarket is constantly hiring...

covid is making them retarded money so they can afford to just hire people and have them quit after a few weeks because of how soul destroying the job is then hire someone else.

If you can put up with that shit until you get a job in your field/make it one day with your investments. but until then money is money

i did it for 2 years and wanted to fucking die every day and would never go back, but its a job a monkey could do and as long as you're not a pedo you'll get hired easy

In the meantime i too have bills. Been reselling shoes/clothes to hypebeasts, & havent spent a single $1 on entertainment or going out since like 4 years ago. Was able to save up about $4k but is dwindling because i put some into investments and owe $205 a month in bills & student loans start soon. So especially feeling the pressure to find work. Went through 3 recruiting services, an employee referral from a friend, 250 job apps and not one interview. So idk man im not laughing. If anything im pissed ill most likely end up bagging groceries with $20k in student loan debt lol

My advice to you is while in college i was too busy working on a failed start up. Hindsight 20/20 i would have really tried my hardest to get an internship in college rather than thinking it was rigged/wasnt going to get the job being pitched to 5000 other students but then also i wish i would have been less invested in the startup and had not really dismissed internship opportunities that were at my school. Last time i had an official job was 2016 which sucks cus now i have no experience basically anywhere. So yes i did this to myself but really dont know a way out at this point. I am considering going to a coding bootcamp to learn a new skill and make me more appealing to companies but its upsetting that my bachelors of science degree doesnt mean much/was kind of a waste of money at this point. Its the need a job to find a job oxymoron rn, most entry level positions ive seen require years of experience which i dont have

Ive worked plenty of shit jobs too i used to work restaurants, umpire, sold watches at the mall, moving furniture all to put me through school. Eventually quit because i realized idiots at university bought a lot of weed and was making more money from that. But after graduating im not gonna sell weed so i started selling shoes/ clothing and what not but ever since corona that market has tanked a bit as well. Luckily i have a decent amount of savings to have gotten me this far of searching for jobs with no luck but like i said they’re dwindling.

Why shouldnt i be looking for jobs in my field of study vs working at walmart with a degree? I understand money is money but the point of this post is to ask for job searching tips to help me find work with higher pay which is what my degree/paying for college was supposedly for. not the previous anon but my here is my 2 cents
Spend the next 6 months of your life aggressively marketing yourself.
Have your resume peer reviewed by the smartest people you know.
Compile a list of any type of job you would want to do that is relevant to your degree.
Then brush up on your skills like you mentioned in a previous post.
Start applying everywhere you possibly can to those types of jobs and try your hardest to get a employed.

If all that fails and you cant get the type of job you want, pivot. Many people get degrees and end up working in a completely different field altogether. But what you cant do is sit around complaining about how you cant find a job. The world is doesnt give a fuck about you and your degree and you will have learned your lesson. From there I would suggest going into a field you might not be enamored with but one where you can guarantee you getting a fuckiing job. (i.e. nursing, engineering, programming, HVAC etc.)

The truth is I would love to be an architect, but the pay is shit and many people aren't building houses in my country. But most importantly I want to have a fucking livable wage.

Get cash flow above zero. The defi space is coming and there will be many competitors. You're still arguing that you're too good to work retail. You could be in management by now. And even if projects leave eth for dot or ada do you see eth losing value? Keep hearing $10k predictions but im skeptical, however, also realize it hasnt hit ath yet and lots of defi is built on it so if they continue to succeed eth gets the credit.
