what the fuck are some actual use cases of crypto, I've been trading altcoins and brc for 4 years now and jumped into altcoins when project had partnerships and announcements coming up, but what the fuck do any of these projects solve in actual world?

How many of these projects even generate revenue from thier product or w/e you wanna call it?

Give me examples and numbers.

Truthfully a lot of altcoins are still in the scaling and testing phase, with regards to actual institutional deployment and usage
There are a few projects that technically are making money right now with legitimate use cases. Things like:
Aave
Synthetix
Compound
Uniswap

I picked the low hanging DeFi fruit, but im not wrong

What's the use case of the US dollar?
What's the use case of gold?*

*of course there are actual applications of gold but if you run the numbers, you'll see the value doesn't justify the actual price at all. It's mostly speculation & due to horders.

Now combine these two and you understand why like 90% of all crypto has value. The remaining 10% is perhaps (speculation on or actual use of) real-world applications like supply chain data management (like VET, TRAC).

The simplest case use is being able to transfer billions of dollars instantly and somewhat anonymously. Imagine doing that with a traditional bank.

I use crypto to anonymously fund my overseas forex accounts so I don't have to use shitty, over-regulated American brokers.
