There have been multiple public announcements of institutions entering the market too over the last few months so your whole narrative of Tether pushing the price up alone suddenly collapses.

Finally even if they passed the law in question in the next 2 months it only applies to the local jurisdiction and Tether isn't even incorporated in the. At best you will have tether delisted from the handful of american exchanges listing it just like thy were pushed out of Binance and Bitfinex.
