You don't even understand how VCs operate. Once the IPO or ICO takes off, they are done. At that point, when GRT went on coinbase and binance, the VCs cashed out 10x. It's now up to the company to raise any subsequent funds. There's no funds in the VCs hands for them to dump. The team can dilute tokens, dump their coin, not the VC.
