There is increasing activity in China regarding IOTA. Just today another IOTA-based patent was published by Shanghai university about DAG-based data-transfer systems and device management:

IOTA-archive shows that China is #3 country for IOTA-patents (after Germany and USA).

Not surprising considering that China is big into 5G and IOT. IOTA is literally the only contender for this space because of feeless, immutable data-transactions

there is no such thing as a free transaction. IOTA realized this and now they are introducing this bullshit called MANA which is really no different from gas on ethereum

Lol you have no understanding. Mana is not a token or anything, but a reputation value that can be calculated for each node by outsiders using objective information (Mostly: How many value-transactions were handled honestly by this node).

Mana can only be aquired by honestly validating value transactions (it diminishes over time and gets very quickly lost in case of dishonest behaviour)

Theoretically you could pay somebody to send value transactions using your node. This way you would artificially generate Mana and have prime access to network bandwidth. Still has nothing to do with gas fees though
