Its actually horrible. The texture is nothing like meat and it more resembles rubber or leather. The taste is absolute shit too, tastes sweet but very processed and artificial. Once you open the package you'd think differently cause you immediatly notice somethings up. It doesn't look that great on your plate.

This is not madly unhealthy (watch out for mercury though in the fish). If you actually exercise accordingly and eat the right amount of fish and red meat, that is very healthy. Still, you can in fact optimize even further by going vegetarian, but at this point it is mostly academic, and of course there is individual variance. But in general, for most people, an optimal diet is vegetarian.

Why abstain? Red meat is nutrient dense and new research is showing that saturated fats are actually fine in moderation. The main issue with most red meat is the antibiotics and unnatural diets they feed factory farmed cattle, but that can be avoided.

Girlfriend is vegetarian so we eat a lot of vegetarian food. I'm a decent cook and generally find vegetarian junk and processed food to be ridiculously bad value for money. It is like they already realised that they are creating a product for idiots so they might as well try gouging on the price too.
