I have $80,000 net worth at age 20 and according to data this puts me in the top 1% for 18-24, 25-29 and almost there for 30-34.
How is this possible? I can't do shit with 80k in this country and my only hope is to keep investing and grinding.
Are most people really that poor? Is the economy fucked? What the fuck?

>Are most people really that poor? Is the economy fucked? What the fuck?
Yes to all three. I'm upper management at a distribution center for a major retail chain. Our workforce is a mix of people who have been here for 20 years and kids straight out of high school. These kids with zero experience can start with us at $21/hr, which is nearly double what they could get at nearby retail or food service jobs. They get two raises a year and could easily hit $30/hr after 5 years. This potentially puts them way ahead of the game, especially if they're looking to get a degree and move up the ladder. My boss, who runs the whole DC, makes around $250k a year.

But what do they do with those $1500 checks they get every other week? Save it? Invest it? Nope, pretty much every single one of them burns through the entire thing before they even get the next one. The level of consoom indoctrination that zoomers are getting hit with is truly absurd. The concept of doing anything with their money except spending it as fast as possible is utterly foreign to them. I wouldn't be at all surprised if having more than a couple thousand in savings at your age puts you in the top 10%, if not higher.

I operated purely in meatspace. Several of my working partners suggested branching out into darknet markets but I was already juggling too many balls and working 80 to 100 hours a week and I felt I didn't know enough about it to risk it. Besides I already had a mail game going and didn't feel the need to solicit new customers.

I went to jail for 4 months, was at one of the toughest jails in California and it wasn't at all what I expected. As long as you're respectful and not a piece of shit who owes debts, talks shit, etc. people of all races generally respect you. Just conduct yourself upright, stand up for yourself, keep your area and body clean and follow the rules and regulations laid down by the shotcallers and you're good.

People always think of hardcore level 4 high security yards because that's all movies show because the reality is most of it is just trying to figure out how to escape from boredom. I am a writer though so ill just dive into my novels and projects and reading. I could even work remotely by mail. My people will keep their eye out for freelance jobs for me.

But as for the whole rape thing, the reason the race gang thing started was to end predatory behavior like that.

If you rape somebody in prison, not only are you now a sex offender and you will get stabbed on sight unless you go Protective Custody, you have an extra 5 to 10 years on your sentence. So the whole rape thing turned out to be untrue, which was a relief to me. To be honest the whole thing was kind of tame. I hear the fed prisons are way better than state prison or jails too. Closer to European models ie they have more job programs, better food, the prisons aren't all overcrowded and falling apart. States are all broke, the fed prints its own money.

Yeah part of it was dope but in the end I was addicted to ketamine and a bunch of other drugs, hated my life and wanted to die. Kind of glad its over and I'm not dead. A lot of my best friends are dead now.

In America we have this weird puritanical idea that punishing non violent drug crimes will create positive outcomes when in reality it just makes the problem worse. We're so goddamn backward it hurts. Most European countries in the North and West of europe have actual sane incarceration systems where they give you normal clothes, try to teach you job skills, get you ready to reenter society and make good money legally. In America you just get swallowed up into this giant for-profit scam and shit out worse than you came in. Companies like Aramark (comissary) and Unicor (federally run prison labor) make billions off of phone calls, extra food, halfway houses.

The whole thing is a racket. Its sad.

well that is actually a relief to me too to hear, that the rape thing is just something from the movies.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost some friends on the way, me too and everything from a overdose. Its actually sad to see some of the old buddies that I hung out at the time have turned out to be complete junkies, but those are the options we all make I guess.

>>25871316
That is weird but whats weird in europe is that violent criminals do time next to nothing and atleast if you get sentenced to murder in my country, you have a high possibility to get out in 12yrs. Also the violent criminals have become a problem in the prison system, that they harass other prisoners to bring some dope on the weekend vacations. Yes, actual criminal can get out from prison to a weekend vacation, and its bad because usualy the families are involved if you dont do that and bring us that.
If you rape someone here, you can get like a couple months of probation and on the extreme cases maby 2yrs of time.
I think that the lax sentences for violent crimes is just bad. Ofcourse the non violent criminals do time the most, because you have profited from tax evasions (white collar/drug dealing).

It has always humoured me that how well the privat prisons in america have turned the
disciplinary bodies to money making machines.

a massive amount of weed is now grown locally in the US but still illegally trafficked to other states where its not legal, so no, third worlders being raped or violence in general is not involved nearly as much anymore

it's also the wrong way to solve it, you cant jail Americans in order to stop violence in the third world, thats retarded. the solution is to cut off the supply by producing it domestically, getting both the tax benefit and reducing the impact of American consumerism on the third world, allowing those who want to be involved in the business to be legitimate rather than criminals
