Why would you ever sell your bitcoin only after a few years? The amount in circulation will only get smaller once you include the people who lock themselves out of their bitocin account and lose them forever.

So, if supply will only ever decrease in the long run, then as long as demand stays high enough, the price of bitcoin will always increase. Perhaps slowly on average, but still increasing overall.

So why, in terms of years and not decades, would one ever sell?

Most people don't think long-term OP. Just look at /biz/, 95% of the folks on here try to time the market and make a quick buck. Bitcoin will become outrageously expensive in 30-75 years. $30K btc will feel like $100 btc today.

There will never be more than 21 million of my turds, how much are you willing to pay for one OP?
They're just as fungible as king shitcoin

my thinking is that a vast majority of retail buyers (the only people retarded enough to use forums and social media) panic sell because it’s their actual lunch money and not actual investment. Anyone with even a inch of breathing room would know this currency can justifiably be worth 150 thousand per in just a matter of years

I actually agree with this. I think the explosive price increase over the last 8 years won't repeat, but I think it will increase consistently.

Bitcoin isn't a turd though. It's an outdated, but serviceable ledger as digital gold. It is like shit in the sense normies will flock to it like flies, because it has a cool name, but that's where the comparison ends.

turds actually are fungible, so they also have that over btc

I only want a place in a citadel.
I'm getting sick of nocoiners and their obsession with C19.
