oh boy....
this is normal. when I bought the top in 2013 I felt like the biggest idiot on the planet after getting dumped on. i didn't even check the price again until 2017 and suddently realized i was actually in the green. what is should have done was continue accumulating for those 3.5 years but i didn't. i was too ashamed to even look at the prices because every time i did in 2015 and 2016 i saw how in the red i was.

>> No.25813556

>>25813528
i guess i contradicted myself here. i did check the prices like once every 6 months but every time i did the price was lower and lower so i just stopped for like a year

how does $400K end of 2021 sound?

>> No.25813652

my advice for everyone here who really bought the top and isn't larping and wants to forget about it... hopefully you didn't put too much money in already. just set up a recurring buy on coinbase like once a week and forget about it.

Let me ask you why did you buy Bitcoin? How are you supposed to used it? When did you ever think ”oh I need Bitcoin for this!”? Bitcoin is not a stock, you are buying the finished product, if you don’t need Bitcoin in real life and can’t come up with a single person who needs it why the fuck did you biy Bitcoin? Bitcoin is useless 1s and 0s backed by NOTHING. It has no utility. No value. You might as well buy tulip bulbs at least you get yourself some nice flowers to look at.

>>25813772
obviously people here are almost all speculating and have no idea how to even use it, but that doesn't make your point valid. unlike tulips, bitcoin you can hold for 12 years and it will still be there when you come back. you might not need it now, but you might need it in the future. who knows?

The only use bitcoin has is pumping and dumping. It's literally just a fiat playground. That's it.

I hope your joking. You spend 40k+ on a whole bitcoin?!? Why would you do that?

I could send you money right now, no matter where you are in the world, in a matter of hours. no signing up for cashapp or venmo or verifying identity or anything. and once the transaction is confirmed no one can take it away from you.
the price speculation is also extremely useful for people who aren't as fortunate as us and live in countries with hyperinflation. there are posters here from argentina and venezuela who are more knowledgable about what that's like. they'd rather bet on bitcoin than leave their life savings in their native currency.
the biggest problem right now is tether, which may or may not collapse on the 15th. it will collapse one day though. but even after it does, bitcoin will still exist and it will continue existing, and i will cointue buying more.
just because it's not useful to you doesn't mean it's not useful.
