If only there was a guy who used to work at HSBC, the UK ministry of finance, the US federal reserve, who is developing a product in partnership with SIA (the tech provider for european central banks) that is designed specifically to allow easier, more seamless financial transactions for banks for transferring fiat to blockchain and vice versa...

Yeah right, please explain me how. No one accepts crypto payments beacuse it can't scale, and the fees are high as fuck and is , the only reason it's worth this much is beacuse of money laundering schemes executed by exchanges and USDT.
No normie EVER will even bother with BTC if the cannot cash through their banks.

The network effect that makes a big part of bitcoin's value is created by exchanges and traditional banking systems.
If bitcoin was banned from those systems bitcoin won't get more expensive , it will go to zero, beacuse it cannot work by itself. The Jews already crippled it. Only redditors and censorship lovers think the contrary.

Right now the same is happening with freedom of speech. If you get banned from main social networks and from Amazon web hosting services and you are literally fucked. Bitcoin will suffer the same faith

Thats not true, I accept crypto payments for my online store, and wish more people paid in crypto, lol. Coinbase pro payments gateway is actually easy as fuck to setup and implement, and works just as well as stripe, paypal, apple pay, google pay, etc. The funny thing is, the only coin people use to actually buy stuff with is litecoin. The gas fees are too high for people to make small purchases with btc or eth-based tokens, and no one wants to spend anything.

If eth 2.0 actually happens and lowers transaction fees (or cardano flips it somehow and develops all their works in progress), I could see people actually using stablecoins to purchase stuff. From a privacy pov its way better, since as a merchant, if you have something ordered to a P.O box with your credit card, I can still see the billing address on your credit card. With crypto payments, I dont see any of that shit other than the name you give me and the P.O address you give me, but the money is 100% securely transferred and in my account.

*and no one wants to spend anything with a lower mcap because of their speculative nature (although even btc and eth are speculative af, but they generally dont just jump 30-50% in a day)

You shouldn't need coinbase pro payments to sell goods and services.
You should be able to receive bitcoin and eth on a wallet without the need to covert it to USD, without the need of any middle man.
Crypto is the most transparent scam ever designed.

>> No.25805574

>>25805400
idgaf who powers the future of finance, I'll accept anything widely used and adopted. I just want normies to buy my shit with their hard-earned coins because there isn't as much friction yet between spending crypto and it feeling like "real money". Like, its easier to push a button to spend $20 than it is to hand someone a $20 bill. But, normies are getting gud at online shopping now, hunting for all the deals, spotting scams, using social media, etc, they're getting smarter, and therefore, the numbers on the screen in their bank accounts means more to them now. There's more and more friction developing between online purchases and it feeling like money.

Crypto's rise will give rise to another golden age of ecommerce.

I definitely still could just paste an address to send payment to, and then turn on draft orders on my store from the customer's end, and make a form field labeled "paste your btc address here to verify payment". Then, for each transaction I receive I would just have to match it to a corresponding draft order. It would be more tedious, but I'm fairly certain I could script and automate most of that.

I just picked coinbase because its the biggest and most reputable. Putting the coinbase logo, alongside paypal, google pay, visa/mastercard, etc looks better to normies because it does a thing called "building trust". idgaf about coinbase, but its all about playing the game and doing what looks good
