I used to regularly drink some 6-8 cups of coffee daily. Then I got food poisoning on christmass eve and was unable to eat or drink for a few days.

>caffeine withdrawl
>dehydration from excessive vomit and diarrhea
>can't drink
>can't eat
>migraines intensified cause no caffeine
>fever

My new years resolution was no caffeine. Try taking pseudoephedrine Nasal decongestant in the morning. It wakes you up and removes the headache from the caffeine withdrawal and still lowers your tolerance for caffeine.

A trick I learned in HK when there was no good coffee anywhere

Same, I kicked caffeine for a bit during the last lockdown, and after about two days I was totally fine.
And I go through a fair amount of caffeine a day, roughly four espresso shots because I'm a consoomer.
Now the four days I stopped fapping, that was something. I had wild monkey sex with my girlfriend then went and fapped in the bathroom after she went to sleep because I had so much pent up sexual energy.

caffeine is the easiest drug to get over withdrawal. the withdrawal is short and you get a full reset. dont go full addict like 4 cups a day or some shit. reset more often, skip a weekend once in a while.

I've done it. it's not that bad. Xanax withdrawal is the worst feeling I've ever experienced. a constant uneasiness where everything feels wrong but you can't quite tell what it is or where it's coming. a sickness creeps through your body but whenever you try to identify the source it moves somewhere else. you want to run away from it but there's nowhere to go because no matter which way you turn it's right behind you. there's no escape and the walls feel like they're closing in the space around you keeps getting smaller.

so yeah be careful with xan. it can help if you use it occasionally but it's way too easy for occasionally to become every day, and at that point stopping taking it becomes worse than whatever made you want to take it in the first place

Do you feel like shit when you don’t drink 4 cups? I was very addicted to caffeine for about 7 years up until last March and while I got a buzz early on, I only drank it (several sugar free energy drinks per day) later in the addiction to get back to my baseline.

Xanax withdrawal is about 1000000000000x times worse than any anti-depressant wd. Ive had both and I am still on xanax due to how bad it is.

Its like wanting to breathe or eat but you can't so your body thinks it's going to die without it and every neuron on your body is on fire. That shit rewires your brain so when you're off it, your mind has no idea how to cope.

I'll probably end up killing myself if I ever get taken off it and can't find any illegally...which I would totally do and risk if it came to that.

uh no just because you were born a crack baby doesn't mean everyone was.

i was able to quit xan but it took a long time. switched to valium and cut the dose over several months. trying to go cold turkey might have you ending up in the hospital or having to be chained to a bed like jordan peterson.

I haven't gone a day without drinking coffee in a long time so I couldn't say. Usually if I miss a day I don't notice too much but I'm just concerned I throw them back too much. I really only drink water and coffee so I kinda of rely on coffee to be an interesting tasting drink as opposed to water. So if I don't want water I'll think "Yeah I'll have another coffee"

for me what worked was switching from 1mg Xan per day to 10mg valium. Valium has a longer half-life than xanax so you don't get the same sort of sudden crash when it wears off, and the effects are milder. The transition was a bit rocky for like 2 days but after that I felt alright. stuck with 10mg valium for a few months, then down to 5mg for a few more months, then 5mg every other day, and then finally off it entirely.

Yeah, if you don’t drink coffee regularly one cup every now and then feels amazing. But then if you drink it regularly you can never get the same effect. One espresso shot per week or less is optimal

>> No.25787976

I take breaks from caffeine all the time. Usually I'll take a break for a week, then when I start again I feel even better. Caffeine withdrawal can either make you feel like a miserable anti-social black hole, or it just makes you really calm and empty, almost like putting your brain in time-out.
