I started skipping classes and just doing the bare minimum to get through since 7th grade I think. Then at 9th grade I wanted a PC so I had a deal with my mother that if I get all 5s(except for 2 subjects), then I'll get the PC. Then I just learned how to learn faster and got the 5s(3-5 are our grades, 2 is failure and 1 is just nothing basically). Everyone was so amazed at school like I was a wizard even though I just skipped the classes to calmly learn by myself since all the teacher ever did was read the same damn book. I'm by no means a genius, but it was certainly far more useful for me to spend my evenings doing that than wasting countless hours rote learning so some clueless middle aged mitwit teacher can say I'm 'gifted'. Anyone I knew that made it to 6 figures under 30 always had some street smarts and social skills. A lot of people fall for the lone genius trope which is quite stupid. I'd venture it's a different road of treatment: ambition has to be nurtured in those with talent. It doesn't matter how good someone is at learning or figuring out systems if they just want to smoke weed and hang out with their friends all day while working an office job. You need to raise your kids to see practical results from their ventures instead of some sort of set wage for chores. Small example but my uncle owned a small cow+turkey farm and my cousin collected the maneur and made his own fertilizer, which he then sold to neighbors all around town. He didn't get paid the same amount no matter how well he did, he got immediate financial results from his increased drive and effort. That's what we need to teach our kids.

Now he's a fighter pilot btw, I wish I was LARPing, fucker is the youngest of all the cousins so we didn't know what we were competing against until it was too late, he makes us look like shit and has a hot blonde texan wife and brand new house at 25. I'm jelly.

Looks like it takes it into account to me. It's saying even after 7 years in the labor force (29), a quarter of the workers are still in the negative due to debts. The mixup probably comes from the 18-24 year group which has two ages keeping the numbers up:

>24 year olds with good jobs
>women/blacks who have demographic scholarships
>18-19 year olds who haven't collected much debt yet

By splitting the first category into 7 years (18-24) instead of 5 years (40-44, 50-54, etc) they're able to mask the biggest chunk of debters which is 21-22.
