>today's market cap of both MasterCard and Visa equals ~$500b each
>MasterCard and Visa is aimed at only one vertical (finance)
>QNT is aimed at 26 verticals
>a market cap of $500b would put Quant at ~$35k per token
>this would make my 1k stack worth $35mm, not factoring in inflation (making it worth even more)
Give it to me straight, /biz/, is this realistic? Or will the token be less efficient when it comes to capturing value when compared to stocks? Or am I even lowballing it?

So you think I am lowballing it? What is your estimate, Anon? Are 5 trillion (inflation adjusted for 15 years in the future) more realistic? Consider that it might end up in chips, etc. And that the CEO says that he wants to conduct himself along the lines of MasterCard and Microsoft (which are >$500b and >$1 trillion companies respectively). With Quant literally being the true ARPANET (internet 2.0), the tcp/ip of digital assets in form of ODAP.

>>25773192
Why do people STILL equate fucking crypto with shares in a company?

Anon, even if Quant did become huge, their net worth as a company would not be equivalent to QNT marketcap. This is true for any crypto, but especially with something like QNT, where Gilbert treats the token and holders with utter fucking disdain, a messy necessity he has had to endure to get his project off the ground.

Please, for your own sake, read up on what a utility token actually is, and what it represents. Quant will be big, IF they succeed, but that does not mean that QNT utility token will reflect that - or even exist at all.

>microsoft makes $50b in revenue p/a in subscriptions
>quant's licenses are paid for via qnt tokens that will be locked up for the duration of the subscription
>the token itself is used literally everywhere, meaning subscriptions, to run the network, to use the network, etc
>there are good arguments made for it being a store of value, since its velocity is slow and the token exists on one of the, if not the, highest layer
Isn't it even better than stocks, since the subscriptions directly translate over to token lock-ups, and you actually NEED the token to use the network, which isn't the case when it comes to e.g. the tokenless MasterCard? You're literally tokenizing the internet (internet of trust, internet for digital assets, arpanet 2.0, odap) here. Which is what I don't understand. Is it better than stocks, equal, or worse?

ETH is technically a "utility token," too, btw. But its value is huge. Now imagine ETH, but for Interop, and technically better tokenomics, and you have QNT.

Exactly. Especially until now, it had no value. Maybe it will have some value soon due to POS, but Quant, too, requires your to stake in order to run gateways.

Worse case scenario is QNT doesn’t rise much above $1k. It will hit $1k this year, though, which is a 55x from here.
No other coin in the top 100 will match this. Bitcoin may do a 5x.
Use your fucking head, anons.

That's the only reason it's been so successful in the first place, anon. There is no other way to do things these days, for the kind of success quant wants.

It just hit 100x for early buyers, do you realise how rare that is for any coin at all?

Gil is doing everything perfectly.

One Quant cryptocurrency will be worth $384000 in 2035 easily. Which implies a market cap of $5 trillion. 5 qnt, which means less than $100 today, are literally all you need to make it.

IDK about $5 trillion, but $1 trillion is easily doable, if you assume $50b in license buying pressure per annum + staking + other use cases, which could easily equal an annual buy pressure of $100b or more. Just imagine what this buy pressure does for the price, when most of it is being held as store of value and for speculative reasons. $70k per token is absolutely doable.

Also just realized all the green IDs ITT.

Its not comparable with Quant. Their fully dilluted marketcap is already way bigger than Quants marketcap. Besides that, theres going to be an ugly token unlock in february, where tokens from pre sale (40x bags) will be dumped onto the market.
