Holding Bitcoin is basically retarded right?

If you hold it and it drops down like it always does you need more gains to dig yourself out.

If you have 100 dollars and it drops 70% you’re basically fucked

100 - 70 = 30
200% gains on 30 would put you at 90. You need more than a 250% raise to be profitable again after losing 70%. Btc went from 20k to 3k last time and it took a long long time and it took 3 years to be at ATH again.

Yeah I’m buying stocks you people with 600k in crypto are fucking lunatics.

Alright just what I thought one post with actual facts that proves bitcoin is retarded and you all sweep it under the rug. Glad I bought stocks instead of joining your retarded cult.

yeah bro, figuring the right stock isn't even hard, its way more profitable over the long term if you have a minimum steady income aside

Why would you buy at the top? If you bought at $1000 then it would have 20x your holdings followed by gradually dropping to 3x of your original holdings.
Amd even if you did buy at the absolute worst time in your example of $20K you still would have ended up gaining in the long run.
So at best you made 20x right away, at more mediocre timing you made between 3x and less than 20x fairly quickly depending on whether you sold before the top or sold somewhere after the top, and at worst you had to wait a couple years for it to 40x.
If that's your idea of a "retarded" investment then you don't know how to read charts and buy at the top before panic selling at the bottom. That's your fault, not BTC's.

if you already made money then stop being greedy and cash out because the longer this bubble goes on the higher chance you have of losing everything. you can always buy back in after teh crash

That’s assuming you buy at the top and it crashes like that. If you buy now and btc 5x and drops 70% lets imagine this scenario

100 initial -> 500 drops >> -70% = 150. Congrats you just made 50% gains

in 2017 you needed 500 buck minimum to get started. I took the advice and threw it in some shit coins that did well and it all eventually fell into link. Now im at 40k. 500 bucks over 4 years turned into 40 thousand. Play for the long game anon. Its not too late but god damn stop being a faggot and go wagecuck to get those numbers up.

Wrong. Wrong. In 2017, you could start with less than 20 bucks and walk out with thousands. Swapping 1sat memecoins could get you started.

This. My $500 is now about $30k which is still astonishing when you think about it. People were saying it was too late back then just like they're saying it now. But that's because they don't have any foresight and don't understand what it is they're invested in.

Three years is a super short time to do this.
Anyways you should not buy bitcoin because you can't handle the volatility.
