Swingies usually get the rope because they mistime the market or they think they can outsmart it. Moving in and out of btc is the smart play, but I don’t want to get raped in taxes here for doing that vs holding for long term capital gains. It’s not about the end tax burden, it’s about having to front the intermediary tax burden on every trade before you make all the money
