I'm thinking of selling all of my Vanguard ETFs oh Monday and putting it all on Bitcoin. I have around $50,000 in bond ETFs alone, which don't give me much in dividends. I'd make more money if I invested it in Bitcoin, I think. Has anyone else done this?

Yeah I know, and started to realize this over the last few days. I wouldn't be able to do it until next week. And sale and transfer will take a few days. It might be up to $50,000 by the time I can buy Bitcoin.

Dont
This is comming from guy who stacks sats since 2015, I mean yes you cant go wrong eventually but there is strong chance you will be in world of pain for long time if you go in now, remember this fomo feeling that this shit will never stop going up and next time it crashes hard convince yourself to buy somehow (it will be hard whitouth this fomo rush)
You are just fomoing newfag ready to blow his life savings on something that he barely understands, and no matter how it seams and what everyone tells you: this is not last time you saw btc under 40k lol

Don't listen to this anon.
$50k is make-it-money when we hit $1,000,000 by February 2022. It's only a 25x from here, and will propel you into a millionaire set for life. The risk is minimal, since any 1-5% dip is quickly bought up, so you basically can't lose money if you buy in now.

Nobody and I mean nobody who has held BTC for over a year has ever lost money.
Nobody. Not a single person. Ever.

The maximum you might lose in the short-term is half, but you will be missing out on at least 500% gains within the next 5 years. What happens if it doesn't dip? Double and triple might pass you by.

Sunk cost fallacy detected. Holding is the same as buying. Holding BTC at this level and telling others it is too high to buy is retarded. Every day a holder of anything doesn’t sell they are in effect rebuying at the current market price.

I appreciate good FUD and love to FUD my own holdings here but I think you were being genuine. It doesn’t matter if you have 7 figures in BTC from hodling or if someone has 7 figures from an inheritance or stock market gains; once that second person buys BTC they are in the same exact position as you.

If you’re really nervous you can stake Dai stablecoin on inverse.finance and get paid interest in wrapped Bitcoin. It’s basically automated stat-stacking.

Both of these suggestions are stupid. There’s a third suggest as well but its more of an observation. 1 buying high 2timing the market and 3ddlusional adhd gamblers. All losers.

I pulled everything I had in stocks/ETF's once BTC had the breakout confirmation on 20k. Don't know if it's such a good bet right now, could just scale slowly into it cause I think we'll have a dip sometime soon.

I sold all my Vanguard ETFs for FNGU / TQQQ / TSLA then I sold all my FNGU/TQQQ/TSLA for BTC in October
Vanguard boomer index funds are fucking gay and I honestly just thought they were the best way to go because I didn't know any better and it's all you hear in pozzed personal finance media. Now I won't invest in something if it doesn't have the potential for a 4x return yearly.

We're consolidating nicely around the $40k mark and that is incredibly bullish. Expect a breakout at any time and then we are targeting $50k.
Believe me or don't, I don't care as I'm already positioned in and have been for months.
