25727452 No.25727452 [Reply] [Original]

Just to introduce myself, I'm 18 and got $1,000 to invest, but I don't wanna throw my monmey around until I learn how to trade effectively through paper trading. How did you get your start? What resources did you reference to learn what you do now, and what are major mistakes I need to avoid making? I get that paper trading isn't real money, but if it's practice for what's to come then I'm gonna damn well take it seriously. Any and all replies are appreciated, thank you.

you do in low market caps
>>25727452
if you have under $10K, look into low market cap projects trading on uniswap. A year is a week in the micro market caps. I've found success getting from 10K to 100K in just the last month with only rudimentary trading knowledge. Beware it's extremely volatile: a mixture of scams, expereiments, hobbyist tokens, etc. But if you learn the space and can manage risk you will make profit. It's not really much diffrent from large mcaps except you've traded volume for price speed: which is excatly what you want to get from a couple thousand to $100K. When you have larger amounts to invest, start looking at swing trading in the larger, more serious mcaps.

I'm currently a few thousand in try.finance, which I would describe in the "experimental/demonstrative" category. https://www.dextools.io/app/uniswap/pair-explorer/0x608095446de5500937d50fff7f0f39e307e7a62a..
I'm not shilling for you to enter, but watch this trading pair over the course of the month as a part of your paper trading, see if the space is for you.
