Clement himself said in 2019 that LINK has no product. The head of integrations at AAVE said in the same chat “yes they have no product but give them time”. AAVE was given 500k LINK to use Chainlink.

Since 2019, Sergey has done no development. Meanwhile PNK has had 500k of ETH rewards paid to jurors and vitalik has come out saying it’s the standard oracle.

PNK is virtually unknown outside our small community, and could probably double in value off of a few high-profile youtube videos or even a listing on a good exchange. It's already functional and more profitable to hold than ChainLink, and the potential implementations are almost as broad.

That being said, I was early to Link as well, and I still believe it will be an essential part of any actually functional crypto financial system. I wouldn't say either is really a bad hold. But a certain amount of success is already priced in for Link. PNK is undervalued on the basis of its potential alone, and a single solid partnership or a little more visibility should be enough to make that clear.

I currently have 25 ETH and 318k PNK.
Should I hold the ETH until it goes higher as expected and then swap it into more PNK?
Or should I swap it into PNK now?

Rationale for swapping later: so far even though both have been rising, ETH appears have outpaced PNK so if the current trend holds, higher ETH will ultimately mean more PNK for each ETH on 1inch or Uniswap, even if PNK rises with everything too.

Rationale for swapping now: PNK is by far a greater value proposition if it moons, so even though I'm getting a worse exchange rate between PNK/ETH by swapping before theis current run tops out, if/when PNK finally breaks out big I will 10-20x my money rather than getting maybe a 2-5x with ETH (bought most of my ETH at around 900)

Not sure how bad fees are looking right now, but it might be a good idea to exchange half now, and half later.
Personally, I'm not too bullish on ETH rising much more in the short-term, but PNK isn't going to move at all without news. That *could* happen at any time, but I wouldn't feel too much FOMO. PNK has a great future, but predicting the next couple of months is just gambling. If you're bullish on ETH short-term, you can probably afford to wait.

Interesting analysis. I try to keep as much as I can in my Bianance account to swing with and try to grow my portfolio. I guess It all depends on where ETH is expected to go for the time being. I'm thinking keep my baseline at 20-25 ETH (or the equivalent) in my trading account and then every 1000 in new new swing trae profit I can withdraw that and DCA into more PNK.

I'm a Kleros juror as well so anything that gets me higher odds to adjudicate cases also has monetary value as well.

They are genuinely devoted to the project. They also care more about solving the problems associated with decentralized dispute resolution and moderation than they do about hype.
That means that the first stage of growth might be excruciatingly slow, but you don't have to worry about a rug-pull or a pump and dump. Link was the same way. At first Sergey was practically unreachable, there was no publicity on reddit, twitter, or youtube, and I was genuinely concerned that they had abandoned the project for some reason. But then they hired some more people, hype built organically, and everything worked out.
That being said, I really wish they would put in more of an effort to get us on some good exchanges. It makes a huge difference for normies, and getting normies involved at some point is necessary for generating excitement and fueling further partnerships. Getting on Binance or Coinbase would be so good for this project.
Oh well, I can wait. It's really just a matter of time.
