If you have a 50/50 chance to double your money you shouldn't take it.
If your odds are 51/49 then to be safe you should bet a small enough amount that you can make at least 20 losing bets without losing everything.
What would you say the odds are of the price going +100% vs it going -50%? If it's just 50/50 then don't bother but even if it's 50/50 you can reduce the loss using a stop loss. If you only lose a 50 if you lose but gain 100 if you win 50/50 odds are good.
