The other guy already explained what the break even is. You don't have to wait til 7/16. You can sell the option at any time. If you buy an option yesterday and it's more valuable today then you've made money. It doesn't matter what the strike price or break even price is it went up. Obviously how much it goes up will depend on strike price and expiration but it doesn't change that you made profit.

I also just got started with certificates. The good thing about them, at least in Germany and probably also Europe is that you can't lose more than you put in and do like 15x leverage without any margin stuff. I currently have a bull knockout on clf and a 15x bull factor on tsla. Knockouts are are more difficult to understand and the leverage dilutes over time. Factor certificates are to my taste more easy to understand and they also restore the leverage daily to its original value, it basically functions like a leveraged ETF, path following with daily resets. With all certificates the base value, stop loss (if any) and the knockout barrier are also adjusted dynamically or daily.
